Building on the foundation of Hyperlab's functional MVP, this project focuses on a comprehensive visual and experience overhaul for the mobile app. Version 2.0 prioritized a user-informed UI refresh, design system creation, and enhanced data visualization.
THE CHALLENGE
The initial Hyperlab app (V1.0) successfully delivered core functionalities and validated the concept. However, user feedback and a strategic vision for growth revealed opportunities to:

The design of Hyperlab Mobile App V2.0 was a strategic UI refresh, meticulously driven by user feedback from V1.0 and guided by a commitment to creating a visually compelling and intuitive experience.

We initiated the process by meticulously reviewing all user feedback gathered from V1.0's usage. This involved analyzing app store reviews, support tickets, and direct user interviews to pinpoint specific pain points and opportunities related to visual clarity, navigation, and engagement. This direct user insight was the bedrock for V2.0.

Crafting a Refined Visual Language
To ensure consistency and elevate the brand, a comprehensive design system was developed/enhanced for V2.0. This involved defining a vibrant and dynamic color palette, selecting modern and readable typography, and creating a cohesive set of icons and imagery that reflected Hyperlab’s innovative spirit.
Standardizing Data Visualization
A major focus was on transforming raw performance data into clear, actionable insights. We redesigned charts and graphs across the app (for Drill Play, Regime Summaries, and Analytics Dashboard) ensuring consistency in data representation, labeling, and interpretation. This made complex athletic metrics digestible and motivating.

Usability Testing & Collaborative Polish
Prototypes featuring the new UI and enhanced features were rigorously tested with users. Their feedback guided final adjustments. Throughout, close collaboration with the development team ensured visual fidelity and technical feasibility, translating design vision into a robust application.
